ANA has been currently presenting a photographic exhibition at Las Torcas called Contra Dicciónes – by new members Charley Werff & Klaus Schumacher. The exhibition dates have been extended and now we are happy to invite you to the closing night party! Friday 27th January 6 – 9pm
Emma Plunkett made this video as a sort of souvenir from the event. She says, “It is about a slice in time, the general atmosphere and the people that came along, rather than concentrating on any actual artwork.”
The live music was great. The band was outside, so everyone was outside too, which meant people could get around to see the art without the crowds.
Read the words of Jane Skellett and see photographs by Lisa Prudon that beautifully illustrate this artists in the community event.
It will be another evening of art, this time accompanied by the swinging sounds of live jazz / modern music with singer Tina Thomsen.
A new space of possibilities – its giant glass and concrete structure poised on its landing pad above the little sister town of Tablones.

The building housed an incredible amount of diverse artwork from the 17 participating artists.
Marlene Worner writes for Sur in German and she has given ANA a good write up, featuring the art work of Lisa Prudon.
Join us for a glass of bubbly and live music on September 24th at 8pm. Everyone welcome. Come along and find out more about the artists and their work.
Especially The Bride Stripped Bare By Her Batchelors, Even, often referred to as The Large Glass. Copious notes were written by Duchamp about this work, contained in The Green Box. These notes reveal Duchamps’ fascination & interest in the fourth dimension, along with numerous other artists at the time. However, as the notes reveal, Duchamps understanding & knowledge far exceed that of his contemporaries.
