Introducing La Fabrica:
A new cultural hub in the Alpujarras for artists, musicians, dancers, actors, all kinds of performers and friends.
Artists’ Network Alpujarra has spread its wings. With a new home in a former olive oil mill in Lanjarón. And a new remit to welcome not only visual arts and artists but also performance artists and musicians.
La Fabrica will be a not-for-profit, members only space in which there will be regular art exhibitions and performances. There will also be a pay café/bar.
Initially there will be a limited but ample space for exhibitions, rehearsals and performances. Ultimately, when we have enough funding, we will be opening the entire mill.
There will be essentially two types of La Fabrica membership:
Art & Performance Membership
Open to all visual arts and artists, musicians, poets, performance artists. Membership includes: membership card, entry to the venue, exhibition, rehearsal and/or performance privileges, free entry on the ANA Artists’ profile page, first priority on limited ticket events, discounted tickets for classes and talks. Membership fee: €30 per annum per person.
Open to anyone who wishes to support and enter La Fabrica, to see any exhibitions or performances, use the café/bar or simply socialise. Membership includes: membership card, entry to venue for exhibitions and performances, first priority on limited ticket events, discounted tickets for classes and talks . Membership fee: €30 per annum per person.
Children up to the age of 16 will have free membership for exhibitions and performances.
And there will also be day memberships for individual exhibitions and performances for which there will be a nominal fee payable at the door.
Events (e.g. concert and theatre tickets) will vary in price according to the size, length and scope of the event. Ticket priority will be given to full members.
