Opening times: 25th November – 16th December, 7 – 10pm. Wednesdays to Saturdays.
This an opportunity to surround yourself with incredible art and be inspired in the impressively refurbished setting of La Fábrica Azucarera Nuestra Señora del Pilar, the Sugar Factory of Motril. It is a beast of a place, enormous and thus we have a huge selection of local and international artists exhibiting.
ANA artists are integral to the organising and putting on of this humungous event. Emma Plunkett is leading the event and Gareth Lister is curating the art. Acompalia.org are the charity behind the project, making it happen. They will be in receipt of 10% of all sales.
Toni Connolly & Luis Gomez will be providing live funky chill out music on the opening night. Guitar, keyboards, sax and flute will set the atmosphere for enjoying the art.
On the 2nd, 9th and 16th of December you will also be able to enjoy the art with other live musical accompaniment.
Artists will also be giving talks about their art during the opening hours. If they seem a bit quiet just go up to them and encourage them by asking all the questions you are dying to know!
